Company History
The Occam Group was founded in 2000 by the firm’s President, Ken Barnhart. For a decade Occam has been a Microsoft Partner focused on providing holistic and cross-disciplinary solutions to Enterprise Project Management challenges. Over the past ten years Occam has helped over 50 organizations on four continents address their EPM challenges in seven different verticals.
In 2005, Occam Group was the Grand Prize winner of the Microsoft International Productivity Competition for an EPM solution they developed for Bristol Myers Squibb. The following year Occam became one of the first Gold Partners in the world to earn the new EPM specialization within the Information Workers Competency.
Today Occam stands an only one of two Gold Partners in the world to hold the Advanced Networking Solutions, Information Workers Solutions, Hosting, and Security competencies.
