Customized Automated Project Intake
This body of customizable .NET code provides a web portal which creates a real-time, self-service project request engine customized for the services that you offer to your clients. This portal gives the project management function visibility into the projects that are being proposed, control over who is authorized to request them, and what deliverables are being requested. Accepted projects are seamlessly launched into Project Server, based upon the custom templates you select, while rejected requests are stored in a central repository for later consideration.

Methodology Based, Interview Driven Project Guide
Like “Turbo Tax” for Project Management, Waypoint guides users through a customized series of questions, which when completed populates a production project plan, ready for use. More specifically, Waypoint is an XML based project guide customized to the unique business processes, project types, and governance approach of a given organization. This project plan will be populated from a template library based on your project types and will include all the control documents, process steps, milestones, phase gates, and data objects, codes or flags that your organization tracks. Because the Waypoint is developed around your methodology, all project management activities important to your organization will be embedded into the project guide, which will dramatically reduce the time and complexity of creating and maintaining a project plan for your project managers.

Advanced Reporting Dashboards & Scorecards
The Magellan offering is ideal for organizations who have Project Server deployed and want more advanced operational, tactical and strategic reporting services. The Occam team works with the report consumers to establish the metrics, ratio, and key performance indicators needed to produce Project Intelligence. Then we use SharePoint, SQL Reporting Services, OLAP, and Project Web Access to create a body of custom reports that are created from multiple data sources and distributed in an automated process that requires zero human intervention.
